Give Local Louisville is a 24-hour online giving day created to inspire people to give generously to the nonprofits that make our community a better, more vital place to live. In 2015, Give Local Louisville made history, raising $3 million through 8,785 gifts for the 362 participating nonprofits -- a more than $1 million increase over the previous year.
Give Local Louisville returns on Thursday, September 15. And the goal is simple - to raise more money for more nonprofits. We want to again inspire thousands of people to give to the local causes they care about and to turn their collective generosity into impact for our community. This year, over 600 nonprofits are taking part in this city-wide movement to advance Louisville.
Once again, the Community Foundation of Louisville and partners will maximize the community's generosity with prizes, Golden Tickets, and bonus dollars. We hope that these and other incentives will inspire thousands of people to give to the local causes they care about and to turn their collective generosity into impact for our community.
If you are a Community Foundation of Louisville fund holder, you can make gifts to Give Local Louisville through MyFund until Friday, September 9, at 3:00 p.m.
