Celebrate Father’s Day with the Kentucky Derby Museum’s Doughnuts with Dad Tour and Breakfast

LOUISVILLE, KY (June 2, 2016) – Looking for a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate Father’s Day? Join us on Sunday, June 19 for our first-ever Doughnuts with Dad Tour and Breakfast! Guests will meet at the Museum at 8:30 a.m. then head to Churchill Downs Racetrack to watch Thoroughbred horses train during their morning workout. A tour guide will give insight into the action on the track with a family-friendly approach, while guests enjoy a light breakfast provided by Thorntons.

At 10 a.m. guests will return to the Museum to explore two levels of interactive exhibits, including the newly opened AMERICAN PHAROAH exhibit and The Greatest Race, the 360° immersive sound and media experience that will transport viewers into the heart of the Kentucky Derby. A historic walking tour of Churchill Downs Racetrack and access to The Finish Line Gift Shop is also included.

The cost for Doughnuts for Dad is $10 per person for Museum Members, $15 per person for non-members. Children under five are free. Tickets are available here. Guests also have the option of adding on a day of live racing with tickets to Churchill Downs Racetrack. First race on Sunday, June 19th is 12:45 p.m. (Children 12 years and under are admitted free to the track).
