All of our Citizenship services are free to backside workers.
Citizenship Class
The class helps the student prepare to take the citizenship exam. It gives the student the opportunity to learn about American Government, Geography and History. It also gives the student the opportunity to practice for the interview.
Citizenship class meets on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This class is only appropriate for residents who are trying to become a U.S. citizen.
English for Citizenship
For students who are trying to become a citizen and need reading and writing practice. This class is combined with our Advanced English class which meets on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Since Citizenship class begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, the student is welcome to come for the first hour of Advanced English class on Tuesday evenings then attend Citizenship class at 6 p.m.
