Our Lending Library is free to be used by all backside workers, not just students.
About the Library
Our books are available for all backside workers' use. You can check out books for 2 weeks and are only allowed to check out 2 books at a time.
We have a ficition and non-fiction section which includes a horse section and Spanish and English section. We also have Spanish and English magazines (Thoroughbred Times, BloodHorse, National Geographic, Reader's Digest, Selecciones and People en español). Additionally, we receive the Courier-Journal daily.
We also have resources for studying English including workbooks.
Book Donations
We receive book donations year-round. That is how we have so many books. If you are interested in donating books to the Learning Center, contact the Learning Center. Any books that we do not use, we take to Half Price Books and sell, so we benefit from all book donations.
