Located at historic Churchill Downs, the Museum provides a truly unique setting for entertaining business associates or to celebrate weddings, anniversaries, Bar/Bat Mitzvah and other social events. With our flexible Rental Plan, you can virtually "own" the Museum for night event or meeting rooms for daytime events. The Museum offers exclusive use of the entire facility for evening rentals. Select from a broad menu of services and event and meeting spaces for both private and corporate use.

The Great Hall

Our largest venue, the Great Hall, allows for a very open environment. The Great Hall may seat 250 guests banquet style or up to 400 guests reception style.

The Great Hall banquet room also features a 360° screen which shows our award winning feature film "The Greatest Race". Share the story of the derby with your guests or use our screen for your own personalized presentation.

Larger groups can be served through multi-level use of the Museum. Up to 1000 people can be accommodated for cocktail receptions.

The Pollard Gallery

The Carl F. Pollard Gallery is located on the second floor of the Museum. This spacious area has a series of picture windows across the front of the room overlooking Gate 1.

The room can accomodate 130 guests seated at round tables of 10, 150 guests seated in theater style, or 90 guests seated in classroom style.

The space has been equipped with all of the necessary wiring to make meeting presentations a breeze.

The William Ray Gallery

This horseshoe shaped exhibit gallery has a maximum theater style seating of 150 people. Maximum dinner seating is 130 people.

The Derby Cafe

Perfect for intimate dining. Maximum dinner seating, 110 people, using the Cafe tables with chairs. (Can be used in conjunction with the Great Hall for extra seating, buffet or bar service.)
