Join us for the first-ever available Derby day tour of the bustling Churchill Downs barn area. Experience the energy and excitement of the biggest day in Louisville and Thoroughbred racing. A tour guide will take guests on a walking tour through the barns pointing out Derby contenders anxiously awaiting their big race. Guests will enjoy great photo ops rail side, see top horses and may catch a few celebrities behind the scenes. The tour will end with breakfast in a private environment where they will be treated to personal views of an historic Kentucky Derby Trophy.

A shuttle will carry you to the front side of Churchill Downs following the tour if you plan to attend the Derby festivities. This tour is only available with advanced registration. Guests will park at Papa John’s stadium where they will be picked up at 7:45 a.m. This tour will not be handicap accessible and guests must be able to walk for an extended period of time through crowded areas. Join us for the premiere barn tour of Churchill Downs during the energy and excitement of training hours Oaks Day. A tour guide will take guests on a walking tour through the barn areas pointing out the stalls of Oaks and Derby contenders. Guests will enjoy great photo ops railside and catch glimpses of top horses. The tour will end with breakfast in a private environment where they will be treated to personal views of the perpetual Oaks trophy and this year’s Kentucky Derby Trophy before it is handed to the winner.

This tour is only available with advanced registation. Guests will park at Papa John’s stadium where they will be picked up at 7:45 a.m. and returned at the completion of the tour or may be transported to the Churchill Downs entrance for a day of festivities.
