HALLOWEEN HATITUDE & HORSES AND HAUNTS FUN!
It might be summertime with thoughts of sand and surf but here at the Kentucky Derby Museum we are planning ahead for October and the witching hours that bring about Halloween fun. It has been said that not every witch lives in Salem and we want to give you witches and warlocks an opportunity to put a Halloween spin on a great Derby tradition. Whether it’s Freaky & Fashionable, Ghoulishly Glam or a Wearable Scare You can design your own Halloween creation to rival Dr. Frankenstein!
So make a hat and decide…are you a good witch or a bad one?
Get a group of 15 or more of you closest friends and come join us for Halloween Hatitude. The cost per person is $26 and includes a museum visit along with your witch/warlock hat and all of the accessories for you to decorate it in fine witch style. You might also want to consider our Horses and Haunts Tour. Let us take you back in time to visit the spirits on the darker side of the track. Hear stories of legends and lore as you are guided from the Kentucky Derby Museum’s cemetery to the sixth floor of Churchill Downs. The tour runs at 7:00PM every Thursday in October and lasts for an hour and a half. The cost per person is $15. Call 502-637-1111, ext. 220 for bookings and/or additional information. Consider making a day of it…get a little “Hatitude” on then go visit the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Iroquois Park and then end the day with the ghost stories surrounding famed Churchill Downs!
