Outreach is over until the fall. This spring semester I traveled about 8,800 miles, visited 52 schools, and saw close to 18,000 students - and I remember ALL of their names.

I’ve watched it on TV several times, but this is my first, real-life, Kentucky Derby!! Big hats here I come!!
On April 17th I visited Taylor County Elementary School in Campbellsville. It’s the largest primary school in Kentucky with close to 1300 students.
I visited West Louisville Elementary (about 2 hours west) just outside of Owensboro on April 9th.
I visited Kelly Elementary, perched right on the Ohio River, in Boone County on April 2nd.
I just finished another overnight week, but this time I went west- four different stops in four different counties.
I’m back home after my first overnight week for the Kentucky Derby Museum! Destination: Paintsville, Kentucky in beautiful Johnson County.
