Breeders' Cup Week Barn and Backside Tour

Breeders' Cup Week Barn and Backside Tour

Join us for some Breeders' Cup horse spotting! There's not a more exciting time to visit the 'backside' of the racetrack than the week of the World Championships, back in Louisville for the first time since 2011. Experience the hustle and bustle firsthand in this exclusive van and walking tour. Visitors will take a ride to the other side of the track into the barn area. Do not forget your camera (flashes must be turned off) because there will be many opportunities for photo-ops. This tour offers great insights about the workings of the racetrack, care and attention to the horses and the history of this world famous track. Whether you are a racing novice or a frequent fan, this tour through the barn areas will be a hit. This exclusive tour is offered only to guests of the Museum. This is a great tour for horse lovers, but please note: guests will not be able to touch the animals or enter the shed rows. Tour guides, when possible, will point out the barns where the Breeders' Cup contenders are housed in preparation for the weekend's races. Seats are limited since the group is transported to the backside in a van. This specially priced tour is available the the Monday-Saturday of Breeders' Cup week. As of 7/1/18, Kentucky State law requires the Museum to collect 6% sales tax on all tickets and memberships sold both through its website and in person.
