This exclusive two-hour tour will take you to some of the best spots inside and around historic Churchill Downs Race Track that are closed to the public, including the famous Infield where Derby revelers have gathered since the running of the first Kentucky Derby in 1875!
Guests will see Thoroughbreds during their morning routines as they prepare for future races. You will be driven through a tunnel under the race track to the Infield and have 360-degree views with magnificent views of the Twin Spires and a look across to the backside and barn area where the horses are stabled. Guests will also see the frontside of Churchill Downs and stop at several locations to watch the Thoroughbreds train, take pictures and enjoy being along the rail.
Arrive in the Museum lobby at least fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled departure tour time as all tours leave promptly.
All times shown are in Eastern Time
Please note: Due to the nature of the operation of a race track and live Thoroughbred racing, these tours can be cancelled at any time. If you have prepaid for your tour, your money will be refunded onto a Kentucky Derby Museum gift card that can be used on future tours, in the gift shop or online store.
