Join us for an exclusive, guided tour that explores the history, pageantry and legacy of Churchill Downs Racetrack and the Kentucky Derby. You will have a one-of-a-kind experience at the home of the "Greatest Two Minutes in Sports", from the backside to the exclusive dining areas and everywhere in between.
You’ll start by traveling through the famous infield tunnels to the backside to enjoy an up-close and personal view of the horses, jockeys and trainers, and to see the stables that once were home to Thoroughbred legends like Secretariat, Barbaro and American Pharoah. Next, you’ll enjoy a viewing of “The Greatest Race", a film that will immerse you in Derby day excitement. Then it’s off to Churchill Downs to explore the Clubhouse, including a peek at the Paddock while horses prep for the next race.
Your tour will wrap up with seats at Churchill Downs in one of the Fine Dining areas like Millionaire’s Row, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular lunch at the Chef’s buffet. At 1 p.m., your guide will depart, leaving you to enjoy an afternoon of races, or return to the Museum to explore our two floors of interactive exhibits!
