Early Closing
The Museum will close early on February 24th at 2pm for a private event. The Gift Shop & Derby Cafe will remain open during regular hours. The last showing of the 360 film "The Greatest Race" will be at 1:10pm. The last Behind the Scenes Tour will leave at 1pm. Historic Walking Tours will be available after 2pm for a $5 charge.
Traffic Warning:
Please be advised that the
I-64 bridge, spanning the Ohio River connecting Indiana and Kentucky has been recently closed for structural repair. You may want to plan at least 30 additional minutes to arrive at the museum on schedule. For more bridge closure information please visit: louisvilleky.gov
Guest Services:
The Museum and the Historic Walking Tour are wheelchair accessible.
An induction loop is available for the hearing impaired. If requested at least 10 days prior to your visit, the Museum will provide a sign language interpreter.
Visit the Finish Line Gift Shop, open 7 days a week.
The gift shop is open the same hours as the Museum.

Admission includes our Historic Walking Tour of
Churchill Downs, "The Greatest Race" 360-degree
high-definition film, two levels of permanent exhibits
as well as
special exhibits.
Discounts provided by the Kentucky Derby Museum: AAA (adult and child), CAA (adult and child), Military (active or retired and includes family members), Track employee (Racing ID required), Groups of 15 people or more together, organized school groups, and multi-tour discounts. Please call the Museum for further details, (502) 637-1111. The Museum reserves the right to alter discounts and prices at any time.

Derby and Oaks Days.
