PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP FOR LOCAL STUDENTS & UPCOMING IMPRESSIONS ADDITION

This week local school students are joining us to participate in a printmaking workshop and art tour! In the workshop, students will create a series of horseshoe prints and use horse racing tack as stamps to add texture in monochromatic colors. Prints will be installed to form an 8' x 10'. version of Secretariat’s jockey silks on a wall in our Pollard Gallery. It will be exhibited from June 2 – August 3 alongside three Louisville artists showcased in “Impressions: Art of the Race”. Stay tuned for more updates on the progress!
