Get your students involved in The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports® and join the 2025-2026 Horsing Around With Art competition. This juried competition invites students in to showcase their artistic perspective of the Kentucky Derby. Selected works will be displayed at the museum, with top entries earning prizes for their schools' art departments.

To participate, you must:

• Submit the online registration form.
• Work in a Jefferson County public, private, or parochial school.
• Ensure all HAWA Artwork meets contest specifications on rules and regulations checklist (which will be emailed after registration).
• Deliver all HAWA Artwork at one time to the Kentucky Derby Museum in January and pick up artwork after the exhibition.
