Kentucky Derby Museum welcomed veterans and active duty military for Military Appreciation Day

Free admission to Kentucky Derby Museum and Churchill Downs Racetrack on Veterans Day
 
LOUISVILLE, Ky.  – In support of Military Appreciation Day, the Kentucky Derby Museum invited all veterans and active duty military personnel to enjoy free admission on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015. Churchill Downs Racetrack will also offered free general admission for racing and a 10-percent discount offered in both the Museum’s Finish Line Gift Shop and the Churchill Downs gift shop.

“We are pleased to offer free admission as a special thank you to the brave men and women of the Armed Forces, past and present. We’d be honored to have them spend Veterans Day with us,” Kentucky Derby Museum President Patrick Armstrong said.
