Derby Museum in the news

On Wednesday, August 19, 2009 staff from the Kentucky Derby Museum moved all of the trophies from the main floor exhibit cases to a vault at Churchill Downs. Staff walked approximately 80 trophies by hand in white gloves across the courtyard for temporary storage. The trophies are being moved to protect them during the cleanup while the cases are cleaned and sanitized.
