With its latest “Legends Series” event, the Kentucky Derby Museum features rare bourbons and Buffalo Trace Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley February 5, 5:30 – 7:30 P.M.
Travis Stone, the race-caller at Monmouth Park in 2014 and backup announcer at the New York Racing Association this winter, has been named the new track announcer at Churchill Downs Racetrack and voice of the world-famous Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (Grade I) – America’s greatest race which has been run every year without interruption since 1875.
The second of five 2014-15 Kentucky Derby Museum “Legends Series” events will take place December 4th, 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. in the Museum’s intimate setting.
he Kentucky Derby Museum received a prestigious 2014 ISHY Trophy at the 44th annual International Sports Heritage Association (ISHA) conference held in Nashville, TN.
As a part of the Centennial Festival of Riverboats the Kentucky Derby Museum will present local actor Kyle Ware performing a one-man interpretive monologue, recreating the unique personality of the late Matt Winn.
