Internships at the Museum

Gain real-world experience in museum education by working alongside our team to deliver interactive programs and engage with students in and out of the classroom.

Interns will work alongside our Educational Curation, Outreach, and Programming teams in Louisville, Ky., to assist in the daily management of the museum’s education initiatives.

Some things you can expect to do as an intern are:

  • Assist with outreach visits, including field trips, classroom programs, and virtual instruction
  • Learn and deliver PK–12 educational programming and Churchill Downs track tours
  • Conduct field research and other professional development opportunities under the guidance of experienced museum educators
