This guided van tour will take you through the vibrant community of horses, trainers, exercise riders, and more as they prepare for the big day. As you ride between the signature green-roofed barns, be on the lookout for the iconic yellow saddle cloths that adorn current Derby contenders’ stalls and maybe even catch a glimpse of the next Triple Crown Winner.
During the 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. tour slots, you’ll get to see Derby contenders and other world-class Thoroughbreds training on the track as you stand railside along the backstretch.
The Barn and Backside Tour is great for horse lovers, but please note guests will not be able to touch the horses.
