Looking for something festive to do with the whole family? Join the Kentucky Derby Museum this December to experience holiday magic with Kentucky Derby flair! The kids will stay entertained with two holiday crafts, a scavenger hunt, and storytime. Don't forget to visit Ari at the Stable, explore the Museum's two floors of interactive exhibits, view our signature 360° movie, and take a guided visit to Churchill Downs Racetrack.

Ari's Winter Workshop is $8 with each child’s general admission ticket!

For a child under 5, there is still an $8 dollar charge to participate in Ari's Winter Workshop, even with free admission.

What you’ll receive:

A gift bag with antlers to wear, ornament to decorate, postcards to color, crayons, candy cane, and scavenger hunt map
An adventure through the Museum as you follow clues on a scavenger hunt
Two postcards to color and place into our UPS holiday dropbox. Send it to our Stable horses, the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, or Santa!
Kids' holiday storytime: daily at 10:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. (only 1:45 p.m. on Sundays)
A visit to the Stable to see Ari, the Museum’s miniature horse
Have your camera ready to take pictures at the Stable, Ari can't wait to see you!
