As the official tour provider of Churchill Downs, Kentucky Derby Museum is the only place to learn about the legacy of the Kentucky Derby at the place where it all happens.

In this guided van tour, you’ll ride between the signature green-roofed barns and among world-class Thoroughbreds as they are cared for and prepped for the day. Bring your camera for panoramic views of the racetrack, Grandstand, historic Twin Spires™ and, most important, horse baths.

All "Child" ticket holders must be at least 48" tall to participate.

Here’s a workout you won’t want to miss. This exclusive tour takes you along the Backstretch of Churchill Downs as horses are running at speeds nearing 40 mph during the early morning workout and training hours. Take in panoramic views of the Grandstand, the Infield, the historic Twin Spires^TM, and the signature green-roofed barns where the horses are stabled.

Start your morning just like the horses and trainers do – on the Backside. Your guide will then escort you to see iconic areas of the track and share stories of legendary Derby winners along the way. Enjoy lunch in the Roses Lounge, Skye Terrace, or even Millionaire’s Row before finishing the day with an afternoon of racing.
