Kentucky Derby Museum Partners with Hallmark Media to Showcase “Kentucky Roses” Film Fashion

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 2, 2026) – The Kentucky Derby Museum is bringing a touch of on-screen romance to its galleries this spring through a special partnership with Hallmark Media. Guests can now experience an exclusive display of fashion and accessories from the upcoming Hallmark Channel original movie “Kentucky Roses,” filmed in part at Churchill Downs.

Now part of the museum’s permanent fashion exhibit, the display features outfits and accessories from the film, including elegant Derby hats, a necklace, a handkerchief, and the Derby Day wardrobe worn by stars Andrew Walker and Odette Annable. The collection offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the style and storytelling that bring the Derby’s pageantry to life on screen.

“Kentucky Roses,” premiering May 2 on Hallmark Channel and streaming the next day on Hallmark+, is a sweeping, multi-generational love story set against the backdrop of the Kentucky Derby. The film unfolds across two timelines—present day and 1932—following a young woman with dreams of contributing to the iconic garland of roses, and the unexpected romance that connects past and present.

“Derby isn’t just one day—it’s a feeling, a tradition, and a story that lives on year-round,” said Patrick Armstrong, President and CEO of Kentucky Derby Museum. “Through this partnership with Hallmark Media, we’re able to share that spirit with our guests in a unique way, offering them a chance to step into the romance and pageantry of Derby as seen on screen, while experiencing the real history that inspires it every day at the museum.”

Guests can view the display in the museum’s Derby Fashion exhibit starting May 3, the Sunday following Derby. Included with general admission, the Hallmark fashion installation enhances the museum’s ongoing mission to engage, educate, and excite visitors about the enduring legacy of the Kentucky Derby.
