Kentucky Derby Museum
This summer, we’re proud to be a participating partner in Cultural Pass 2026—your invitation to explore arts, culture, and community across Greater Louisville.
May 30 – August 9, 2026, young people ages 0–21 and their families can enjoy free access to over 50 participating cultural venues—including the Kentucky Derby Museum.
Whether you’re discovering us for the first time or returning for a favorite experience, Cultural Pass is designed to inspire curiosity, spark learning, and make meaningful connections through culture.
Sundays
Tuesdays
On Tuesdays, Cultural Pass guests can also attend Thoroughbred Care at 10:30 AM presented by the Museum Education Team (weekly). Cultural Pass participants learn how teamwork is essential in preparing a horse for the Kentucky Derby as they role-play, performing the many jobs in the stable. Jobs featured include a trainer, an exercise rider, and more in this interactive program about stable careers!
*Please note that a live horse will not be present for this program.
To participate, guests must register for the Cultural Pass:
Sign up at culturalpass.app
Open to anyone ages 0–21 who live in greater Louisville or Southern Indiana
Each Passholder receives one free admission to each participating venue
Passholders under 18 can bring one free guardian
Families with 2 or more Passholders may bring up to 2 free guardians
Guardians are not limited to one visit if accompanying different registered Passholders within the same Family Profile
Your Cultural Pass is managed through a Family Profile, making it easy to plan visits and explore multiple venues all summer long.
Please note, KDM is not participating in the Senior Pass program this year.
