You can expect to see some great flowers and foliage for a race referred to as the Run for the Roses. This tour takes you to the 12,000 sq. foot Horticultural Center tucked into the back corner of Churchill Downs where they grow hundreds of plants, flowers, and more for the 190 acres surrounding the track.
You’ll have the chance to learn exactly what it takes to keep the grounds beautiful on Derby Day and year-round with Horticulture Director Matt Bizzell, as well as make stops railside and to visit the famous Grandstand as you take it all in.
