Our team is up early chopping herbs and preparing Kentucky-inspired dishes. We’re proud to use this “scratch kitchen” model, meaning we create all our food from raw ingredients that are sourced locally. Try our Kentucky-inspired staples like the one and only Derby-Pie®, our own version of the famous Hot Brown, burgoo and bourbon bread pudding. You can enjoy eating inside our café, or on our covered outdoor terrace, right next to historic Churchill Downs.

Menu, Cocktails & Bourbon Flights

Johnny "Bourbon" Arnett, Bar Manager

Come visit Johnny "Bourbon" Arnett in the Bourbon Bar, where he makes the kind of bourbon cocktails “where you feel like you can relax and sit out on the front porch.” The bar inside the café offers over 170 Bourbons, special bourbon flights, and specialty cocktails. It’s an official stop on the Urban Bourbon Trail. Treat yourself to a traditional Mint Julep, an Oaks Lily, or Woodford Spire. Johnny also likes to show off the bar’s rare bourbons available by the glass, including the limited release Old Forester Birthday Bourbon for $60 a shot.
